Víctor Maldonado has a solid professional background with over twenty years of experience in tax and corporate consulting.

Víctor holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting and Financial Strategy, both from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM). Additionally, he holds a Law degree from Universidad Latinoamericana. Víctor also earned a Master's degree in Tax Law from Universidad Panamericana and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Law at the Carbonell Legal Studies Center. He has further enhanced his academic training with diplomas in International Taxation and Corporate Consulting from ITAM.

Throughout his professional career, Víctor has founded and led the offices of VMEO Advisory, S.C., and Corporama Inc. in Mexico City and Miami since January 2020. At these firms, he has specialized in tax consulting, with a particular focus on Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and wealth management for Ultra High Net-Worth Individuals (UHNWI).

Previously, Víctor was a partner at Bettinger Asesores S.C., where he led the M&A and corporate tax consulting areas, as well as headed the firm's wealth management section. His experience also includes over a decade at Chevez Ruiz Zamarripa y Cía. S.C., where he designed and implemented tax strategies for corporations and individuals, including a period working in the New York office.

Víctor has been a speaker at various national and international forums, addressing complex tax issues. As an academic, he is a professor at Instituto BitBCN, a blockchain-focused institution, and has contributed pro bono as a consultant for non-profit organizations, such as the Grupo de Ayuda para la Mano Artrítica, A.C. and Fundación Teletón, A.C.

In the field of publishing, Víctor has written numerous articles for specialized journals and is the co-author of the book “Criptoactivos, Aspectos financieros, contables, fiscales y de PLD” (Crypto Assets: Financial, Accounting, Tax, and Anti-Money Laundering Aspects), published by the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants for Latin America. He has also produced numerous videos and conferences on tax and blockchain topics.
